PetrolFinder.uk is a free fuel price comparison service that displays fuel prices from petrol stations across the United Kingdom. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. User Accounts

Certain features of PetrolFinder.uk (such as submitting reviews, confirming prices, and using the fuel logbook) require you to create an account. Accounts are managed through Clerk, our authentication provider.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and must not create accounts for fraudulent or misleading purposes. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

User Content

When you submit content to PetrolFinder.uk (including reviews, star ratings, and price confirmations), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. All user-generated content must comply with our Community Guidelines.

We reserve the right to review, moderate, edit, or remove any user-generated content at our sole discretion, without notice. Content that violates our guidelines or these terms may be removed immediately.

Fuel Price Data

All fuel price data displayed on PetrolFinder.uk is sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder API under The Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025.

While we source data directly from the UK Government, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the prices shown. Prices may differ from the actual price at the pump due to delays in reporting, price changes between updates, or other factors beyond our control. You should always verify the current price at the station before making a fuel purchase decision.

Intellectual Property

The design, layout, code, and original content of PetrolFinder.uk are the intellectual property of its operators and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Fuel price data is sourced from the UK Government under open data regulations. Brand logos and trademarks displayed on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Prohibited Conduct

When using PetrolFinder.uk, you must not:

• Submit spam, fake reviews, or misleading price confirmations
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access, extract, or collect data from the Service
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or performance of the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Post content that contains hate speech, profanity, threats, or discriminatory language
• Post personal information of others without their consent

Limitation of Liability

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason including but not limited to a breach of these terms or our Community Guidelines. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
